Poem In Your Pocket Day, 4/10
On Thursday, 4/10, students and staff carried a poem in their pocket to share with other neighboring grades during two rotations throughout the day. Students did an incredible job while reading their chosen poems with others, and some even memorized their lines! Well done, and a huge thank you goes out to all staff and Amy Pope for organizing this event!

Students at Pierce School are celebrating National Poetry Month, and on Thursday, 4/10, students and staff will carry a Poem in their Pocket throughout the day. Get ready to share your poem with a friend or staff member! It's sure to be fun, so get your poem ready!

Music Happenings & Night of the Arts, 5/15
Students have been singing their hearts out in music with Mrs. Neilssen, preparing for the 2nd annual Night of the Arts performance, scheduled for Thursday, May 15th at 6 PM. Students will be singing, dancing, and showcasing their artwork from throughout the year, along with a Scholastic Bookfair on display for purchase. Come see what all the excitement is about!

Student Assembly Showcases Skills and Courage at Pierce School
Students in grades 1, 2, and 4 shared projects and learning they've been working on today at the Student Assembly. There were dioramas, discussions about ways they felt lucky in life, research projects on trout, and the creation of songs to memorize multiplication facts. Students demonstrated how amazing they are in their unique ways. Thank you to the PTO for popping popcorn today!

NH SAS Testing for 3rd and 4th Grade Students Set for May
Students in the 3rd and 4th grades will participate in the required state testing during May. The NHSAS is a benchmark testing that is broken into three sections: writing, reading, and math. Students will be given various testing sessions between the dates of May 6th to May 23rd. We are excited to show what we know and learned this year.
